About us
Bedford Hoopers is a men's senior basketball club founded in June 2024. Based in Bedford (UK), we are dedicated to provide a platform for committed players to enhance their skills and mindset for success, in basketball and in life.
Our focus is on fostering continuous growth and skills development, aiming to compete in Basketball England's NBL Division 3 League and reach the highest possible level of competition.
Led by a team of passionate hoopers (Pedro in the photo), we strive to create a supportive environment where players can thrive both on and off the court.

Our Philosophy
We've met really good hoopers that stopped playing basketball because it wasn't enjoyable for them anymore.

We took this as our mission to make hooping fun again while doing it seriously, committing to helping our teammates grow both as players and as individuals.
Because being serious about basketball doesn't mean you can't enjoy the process, in fact, we believe it's the best way to go about it!
We run our playing style using principles based on the Constraints Led Approach (CLA), encouraging decision making and decisiveness.
Our ideal hooper is a smart, unselfish player who can contribute to our collective IQ and positive environment, while making teammates better on and off the court. We're looking to make everything fit together in a cohesive way, always maintaining our unselfish, hard working and smart identity.
